Our Story

A Still Life began as a place rooted in beauty, intention, and heart - a reflection of the woman who first brought it to life. Cindy, the shop's founder, believed deeply that beauty lives in the everyday.

She had an extraordinary gift for creating spaces that felt warm, thoughtful and welcoming, and for curating pieces that invited people to slow down and savor the moment they were in.

Through A Still Life, she built more than a shop-she built a community grounded in kindness, creativity, and care. I had the great privilege of working alongside Cindy, learning from her, laughing with her, and sharing her vision. Our time together shaped me in ways I will always carry.

She trusted me, guided me, and welcomed me into the heart of this space with generosity and grace.

When Cindy passed, A Sill Life did not lose its soul-it entrusted it to someone who loved it deeply. Stepping into this role was both an honor and a responsibility I hold with great care.

My hope has always been to carry forward what Cindy created whole allowing the shop to continue growing naturally, thoughtfully, and with intention.

Every decision made here is guided by the same values she held dear: beauty, warmth and meaning.

Today, A Still Life continues as thoughtfully curated collection of timeless clothing, home pieces, and meaningful gifts-each chosen to bring calm, connection, and sense of quiet joy into everyday life.
